A community of people learning how to meet their own lives without flinching, and how to keep showing up for one another while they do it.
I'm not going to tell you this was brave. You made a decision. That's it.
I started We Do because I needed something like it and it didn't exist. I grew up the poorest in a poor place. I lived with addiction for thirty-odd years. I'm three and a half years in now, and most of what I know about this work didn't come from a textbook — it came from finding out what actually holds when the rest of it falls away.
WRP is built on that. It's structured, but it moves at the pace of real life. It'll ask you to be honest. It won't ask you to be perfect.
We Do isn't a treatment service. It isn't 12-step. It isn't a clinic. It's a community of people — some in recovery, some not — learning how to meet their own lives without flinching.
Show up. The rest follows.

Founder · Recovery Coach · We Do Unfiltered Lives CIC
WRP is built on the Ubuntu coaching framework, developed by David Collins through more than two decades of clinical and coaching practice. David runs the Foundation Clinic in Johannesburg and the London Academy of Recovery Coaching, where Charlie trained and continues to mentor under him.
It draws on cognitive behavioural therapy, systemic coaching, mindfulness, neuroscience, and evidence-based behavioural models. It's not invented from scratch — it stands on established work and adapts it for the people sitting in front of us.
What We Do has done is shift the language. The original framework was built around recovery from substance use. The programme works for that — and it also works for adversity, burnout, trauma, transition, and the slow grind of trying to live a meaningful life under pressure.

Group Session Coaches
Both UACT-trained coaches with lived experience and clinical practice behind them. They're not reading from a manual — they know this work from the inside.

Founder · Recovery Coach
Holds the recovery coaching work and the wider community. 3.5 years into recovery after 30+ years of lived experience. Trained at the London Academy of Recovery Coaching under David Collins.
Every coach on the team is supervised, trained in trauma-informed practice, and rooted in the framework.
We're a Community Interest Company — not a private business. The programme costs £2,500 for the full year. Every cohort holds a small number of subsidised or part-funded places for people who can't pay the full fee.
We assess these case by case, in conversation — not by form. If cost is a barrier, tell us. We'll work it out.
